CAIRO/GAZA (Reuters) – O Hamas busca garantias de que uma nova proposta de cessar-fogo dos Estados Unidos para Gaza levará ao fim da guerra, disse uma fonte próxima ao grupo militante nesta quinta-feira, enquanto médicos disseram que ataques israelenses em todo o território mataram mais dezenas de pessoas.
Autoridades israelenses disseram que as perspectivas de se chegar a um acordo de cessar-fogo e de um acordo de reféns parecem altas, quase 21 meses desde o início da guerra entre Israel e o Hamas.

A proposta inclui a libertação escalonada de 10 reféns israelenses vivos e a devolução dos corpos de outros 18 em troca de prisioneiros palestinos mantidos em cárceres israelenses, segundo fontes. Dos 50 reféns restantes em Gaza, acredita-se que 20 ainda estejam vivos.
